We’re currently seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Doctor’s Technician to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

As a Doctor’s Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our optometrists by preparing patients for exams and performing preliminary diagnostic testing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to start a career in healthcare, particularly in the field of optometry—no prior experience necessary. We will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and prepare patients for their eye exams, creating a friendly and professional environment
  • Perform preliminary tests including visual acuity assessments, tonometry, retinal imaging, and other standard diagnostic procedures
  • Take thorough patient medical histories and accurately document information in our electronic health records (EHR) system
  • Educate patients on general eye care, eyewear options, and proper use and care of contact lenses
  • Assist in teaching patients how to insert, remove, and care for contact lenses
  • Manage and maintain diagnostic and optical equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
  • Help manage patient flow to support smooth, efficient operations throughout the office
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional care and service
